It is that time of year again!
After last year of having so much fun running at all hours of the day and night, having a giant friend road trip, cheering team members on, and smelling really BAD!
This year we were able to sign up 2 teams:) Yes we are ALL crazy! Especially after this year our experience was a little more exhausting. This year we joined into the 2nd van which runs right in the middle of the night. Jaren was runner 9 which not only had a 10 mile run at 2 AM in the morning, but a 3.5 mile straight uphill run up a mountain in the heat of the day! I was runner 12 this year. My first run was 3 miles up a mountain to Snow Basin (which I must add was a beautiful run). My middle run which was probably the hardest at 4AM while the rest of the team was snoozing and I am secretly afraid of the dark:( The fun thing about my last run was that I was the last runner and was able to run to the finish line with 'most of my team' waiting to cross the finish line with me!
Here are some pictures of our fun adventure...

Here we are the night before decorating our cars for the big event!

Brent giving Julie a tattoo. We mostly did tattoos of the Ragnar symbol and the letter 'T' for Travis Poll who was fighting cancer. Travis is Chad's (member on our teams) brother.

We couldn't miss having a spaghetti dinner!

Our team name was Runners Remorse!
The other team that was created through out our neighborhood was named
'Ya..... we have a sponsor!'

'Ya..... We have a sponsor!' decided to come and crash our party. (They are all the red shirted people) Actually it wasn't crashed... we were happy to have them come over:)

Lisa, Allison, Melinda, and Julie

Members of Van 2 getting ready to run!

Waiting for our turn to start.... Brent still giving out tattoos!

The whole team minus Lisa who is running:)

New rule this year was holding the orange flag anytime you had to cross the road!

Jaren going strong on his first run!

Maybe a little too strong!

Brent with his scary face paint:)

Jason running up his first leg which was a lot uphill!

My first leg running up to Snow Basin!

Still going...

Chad's brother passed away on that Friday so Chad left that first day to go home to be with his family. Jaren and Brent filled in to run Chad's 2nd leg. Jaren was proud to say that he had passed five people in the first mile!

Lisa enjoying her 3rd and final leg!

Van 1 also supporting our team on their last legs!

On my last leg I had a final hill up to the finish line (who makes their finish line up a long tiring hill?) Jaren was nice enough to come and run it with me and give me the support to make it up:)

Yea!!!! Team Runners Remorse!!!!

I vaguely remember saying 'we are so done!, why are we doing this?, we are crazy!'
And yes we are already signed up for next year's race!
