Apricot Picking

If anybody knows me... They know I love to dry apricots!  They make awesome snacks and a yummy fruit leather!!  But for some reason I have the hardest time finding apricots each year without paying my first born child...  This year a friend of mine had heard me talking and invited us over to pick off her sisters tree (who doesn't hardly use them).  There were so many apricots:-)  We all had a fun time picking!  I was able to make TONS of snacks!!  Probably the best part was Jaren handing me down a FULL 5 gallon bucket.  He kept saying 'Let me climb down closer to you, this is heavy!' and I was like 'No, I got it' (Thinking I was all strong and stuff)  So he let go and Timber just like a tree the bucket tipped over and there went all the apricots!  Of course Jaren was so pleased!
Don't worry I will pick them all up!

Mom and Dad Mission

My parents were called to serve in the Czech/Slovak mission.  They left the first of July and will be spending their mission in the city of Ostrava for 18 months.  We will miss them dearly but know they are where they should be and are so very proud of them and their decision to serve a mission!

If you like reading blogs... my mom has one of their mission at http://earlandlouisemillsmission.blogspot.com/
Go check it out!
