Allie's Art Show

One of the things the first graders learned this year was about a lot of different artists. They learned about each one, how they drew, and their different styles. They then drew a picture the same way each artist did. For example...

This drawing Allie drew while lying on her back! Very cute!

They had an Art Show where everyone came in their best dressed and walked around and saw the first graders art work. When I first walked in Allie was drawing...
and here was her picture she drew....
Here are some more pictures of her artwork and her friends!

This picture 'Spencer' is a boy in her class. They each had to draw one another.

FIRST Tooth

When Allie was a baby her first tooth didn't come in until she was 1 year old. That is pretty late... I remember Jaren wondering if he should take her up to the dental school and have her x-rayed to make sure she had teeth:)
Allie was so excited today to loose her FIRST tooth! We noticed while brushing her teeth the one behind was on its way in. As she was getting her teeth cleaned Jaren decided to give it a pull... (of course after he numbed her up with her FIRST shot)! She was so brave and didn't shed a tear! I think she was ready to be put on the first grade graph of who has lost a tooth.

Spring Break

The kids and I definitely had a busy Spring Break!
While Jaren was working hard, the kids and I....
*started off by going to the $1 theater in Kaysville and seeing 'Tooth Fairy' with some friends,
*went to the Hill Air Force Base Aerospace Museum,
*my parents, sisters, and I went down to the Gateway in Salt Lake to the Clark Planetarium to see the 3-D movie Hubble, and went to the Children's Museum,
*went skiing for our last time of the season! (We decided to let Jaren come with us on this outing),
*and finally celebarted Grandpa Jay's 60th birthday which included a REAL soccer game for the boys!
(I kind of think I needed a vacation from our vacation:)
They were all lots of fun and all were great company, not to mention
we ate out for lunch almost everyday!
Who can complain to that???Hill Air Force Base Museum
