Emily, Stacey, Melinda, Mike, Me, Faye, and Jen
So I did get talked into running the Top of Utah half, which I am so glad I did it. I think I was much more prepared then the last one, and everything about the run was perfect. Weather, downhill, wind pushing you from behind, running in your home town, and a great running partner. What more could you ask for? We went up the night before and stayed with my parents, which worked out perfectly because we loaded the buses in Providence and finished there. My parents made us a big pasta dinner the night before with lots of yummy desserts. They were the best ever!
Here are some pictures from the race....

Had to put this one in of Melinda!

Notice Melinda's hair... that's how much the wind was blowing.

Faye's first half ever! Made her goal time with even tape falling off her knees:)

Emily who is also from Cache Valley had signed up for it at the beginning of summer, but ended up injuring her foot so dropped out. She ended up filling in for someone last minute. She did awesome, especially for not running for a whole month!

This is my friend Jen from South Weber, it was fun running into her during the race.

Jen and Stacey! They are the wonder runners! Someday I will keep up with them:)

This is Melinda's husband Mike. What a great guy to put up with so many women.

Dave and Mike, friends from Syracuse. Dave had so much fun he went home and signed up for the full marathon in September.

My awesome running partner!

Way to go! I think everyone I know saw you there! I had like three people come up to me and ask me if my brother was riding his bike in the half marathon and was my sister-in-law in the race! Way to go you did awesome!
Okay seriously, he couldn't have taken a better picture of me?! He took it while I was talking to him!
Awesome! Congrats!
Yay for all of you! Looks like fun! Good for Emily; not running for a month would just be an excuse for me NOT to run it. Why didn't Jaron make an appearance running?
So proud of all of you guys! It looks like so much fun (it really does), so I am glad that I have a $35.00 T-shirt to make me look like I was there!
You are looking buff! I guess I better start running after this next baby.
Natalie you are awesome. Maybe one day I will enjoy running, until then I will enjoy hearing about your running adventures!!
